Tips On Keeping Animals Away From Your Vegetable Garden (Part 2)

A continuation from our post on from last week;

Another popular exercise is to inter-plant different vegetables in the garden. Inter-planting is where you plant something like garlic, onion, lavender within your mix of vegetables. The scent from these plants will repel most animals away from the perimeter. You can also look into adding mulch around vegetables as most animals are reluctant to walk around mulched areas.

Our last recommendation is planting attractive flowers away from your garden. A great example is rabbits and dandelions. Rabbits love dandelions, so if you plant these away from your vegetable garden, then most animals (definitely the rabbit) will prefer to stay around that area.
