The anger you feel when you wake up in the morning to see your beautifully kept vegetable garden ruined due to an animal devouring over the goods is painful. A few repeat offenders in our gardens are usually rabbits, gardens and moles. Well we’ve found a few ways to help combat this situation so take some notes!
Our first recommendation would be to build/buy a raised bed for your garden full of vegetables. Of course there are benefits such as keeping your soil warmer, but it can also help deter those pesky animals away from your vegetable garden. This is usually down to smaller animals not wanting to leave ground level, due to avoiding being highly visible by entering a raised bed.
